CHECK-IN:Check-in is 2:00 PM for Campsites and 3:00 PM for Campin' Cabins. Balance is due upon arrival. Personal Checks are not accepted at check-in. We welcome overnight campers on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please be considerate of your neighbors and plan to arrive before midnight.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out is 11:30 AM for Campsites and 10:00 AM for Campin' Cabins.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT: A Reservation Deposit of $75 per week per Campsite ($25 for Spring, Fall and Winter) is required within 7 days of making reservations. Vacation rentals require a deposit of $250 per week (1 night's rate Spring, Fall and Winter). Balance is due upon arrival. Checks only accepted 30 days in advance for campsites or 60 days in advance for rental trailers and cabins.
FUTURE RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made one to two years in advance. A one week minimum is required.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancelling or shortening a PEAK SEASON reservation must be done at least 30 days prior to the arrival date for campsites and 60 days prior for rental trailers and cabins or deposits will be forfeited (7 days prior for spring and fall).
SECURITY DEPOSIT: Campin' Cabins require a $50 security deposit at check-in. After check-out inspection is approved, the security deposit will be refunded.
MINIMUM STAYS: Advance reservations during peak season must be for a period of 3 nights or more. Holidays (Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th and Labor Day Weekend) require a 3-night minimum stay. Vacation Rental Trailers and Cabins require a 2 night minimum in spring and fall and one week minimum during peak season.
GUESTS: Guests (additional campers) are not permitted entry after midnight. Fees are $12 per person Memorial Day - Labor Day and $6 per person at all other times.
VISITORS: Visits of less than one hour are FREE. Over one hour $6 per person. Visitors are not given free admission or discounts to the Water Park or Western Theme Park.
VEHICLES: titles campers to park one vehicle on site. One extra vehicle may be parked per site for an additional fee of $2.00 per night. Extra vehicles are not allowed in group tent areas. Please display vehicle pass at all times on rear-view mirror. Turn pass in to office when checkin' out. SPEED LIMIT IS 10 MPH THROUGHOUT THE CAMPGROUND. All vehicles, including golf carts, mopeds and motorcycles must be operated by folks with a valid driver's license. THE ONLY 4 WHEELED VEHICLES ALLOWED ARE GOLF CARTS OTHER THAN YOUR AUTOS AND TRUCKS. MOTORIZED SCOOTERS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Car and RV washin' is not permitted.
MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS:Vehicle must be licensed or able to be licensed. Driver must have a valid driver's license or be 18 years old or older.
WE LOVE PETS...however, all pets must wear current and valid rabies tags, be leashed, cleaned up after, attended to at all times and not be vicious or exotic. Sorry, pets are not allowed in vacation rentals. Pets may not be left unattended at any time.
BICYCLES: DON'T FORGET YOUR BIKE HELMET! Maryland State Law requires that children under 16 years of age wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. Bicycle riding is not allowed in the campground after sunset. Remember: bicycle riders must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle.
DISTURBIN’ THE PEACE: Quiet time is from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please, no loud talkin', loud radios, loud televisions or other noise between these hours. Please, no roamin' in the campground after midnight. Please do not cut through other's campsites. The use of generators is prohibited.
CAMPSITES: Only one main campin' unit and one family per site is allowed. A small two-man pup tent may also be set up for minor children only. Campin' units must be separated from each other by a minimum of ten feet. Although we try our best to honor site requests, we reserve the right to change site assignments.
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted from 8:00 AM to midnight. Please never leave a fire unattended.
PICNIC TABLES & FIRE RINGS: One picnic table and one fire ring per site. Please do not move picnic tables or fire rings from your campsite or another's campsite. Please inform the Camp Store or Front Desk if you need a picnic table or fire ring. Picnic table and fire rings are not provided in group tent areas.
LOST & FOUND: Located at the Front Desk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Ocean City Lost & Found: 410-723-6611.
INSECT CONROL: Spraying for mosquitoes is conducted by Worcester County, Maryland and is done on the maximum number of days that the county allows when necessary. Spraying is done between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Any questions regarding spraying should be directed to Worcester County Mosquito Control.
SEWER HOOKUPS: Sewer hoses must be undamaged and must not be inserted into the sewer more than 6 inches. Due to Maryland State Health Regulations, all sewer hookups must be airtight and watertight. Sewer donuts are available at the camp store.
WASTE WATER: Maryland State Law prohibits the discharge of any waste water (septic or gray water) on to the ground. Violators will be subject to a fine and possible eviction. Formaldehyde products are not permitted.
FIRE SAFETY: Fire extinguishers are located at the Front Desk, Camp Store, each bathhouse and in all Vacation Trailers and Campin' Cabins. Smoke detectors are provided in all Vacation Trailers and Campin' Cabins. We recommend that smoke detectors be used in all RV's. All flammable liquids in the campground must be stored in approved safety containers.
FIREWORKS: Fireworks and explosives of any kind are not permitted under any circumstances. Fireworks are illegal in Maryland. Anyone caught with fireworks in Frontier Town will be asked to leave the premises (without a refund). There will be no warnings.
DISCLAIMER: By making a reservation and in consideration for your stay at Frontier Town or Fort Whaley Campgrounds, you have agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the campgrounds and hold Frontier Town or Fort Whaley Campground harmless against any loss of property or injury to person. We reserve the right to select our clientele and guests. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) for detrimental conduct or failure to abide by our rules.
